Of course healthy, well adjusted men and women can have platonic friends. Only desperate, needy and insecure (mostly) men and women, and incestuous creeps think that it’s impossible. To be fair, it’s important to recognize the impact our society has on this issue. Parents don’t raise their boys to have standards and boundaries the way they raise girls. Least of all expectations. Men are not allowed to expect anything of women anymore, despite the persistent overwhelming expectations women have of men. When we raise boys to become men who don’t think every woman is a prize and that we should just feel god blessed if any woman at all likes us, more men can learn to have meaningful friendships with women. When someone has self respect, they are less likely to disrespect others. That starts with standards, boundaries and expectations.
Yes, if I find her physically unattractive, or she is taken, or she wants or has kids, or she doesn't enjoy all of my favorite hobbies, or she isn't an artist, but she is at least a gamer, then I would be platonic friends and play video games with her.
In high school, a lot of my friends were guys. There was nothing going on between us except that we were friends. People certainly thought there was something going on between me and one of my guy friends because we would hug a lot and sometimes hold hands, but there was absolutely nothing going on.

Yes, they can be friends. Most of my friends are male and always have been. Just because some guys are too immature to be friends with a woman doesn't make it untrue.

it' ridiculous to say men and women can't be friends, by that logic a bisexual person can't be friends with ANYONE, it's so outdated, unless there were feelings or sex involved there's no real reason to say people can't be just friends
Ended up getting into a new level even after whave to be honest and I didn't have any luck finding a good friend that I really liked I knew I wanted more, she said she was going to try and wait until you were getting a big and really hard on. I said it was hard. I was in the bed with her having her her over and she said that I was in love.
