so me and my boyfriend dated 4 about 16 months... and today I asked myself if he was actually cheating on me since I dreamed about it... the thing is I ask his best friend what he though of this and he said it was true. That my boyfriend had cheated on me a week ago. I broke up with my boyfriend throw the phone and when I told him it was cus he cheated on me he was very surprised... I hung up after that I really couldn't take it... anyways doesn anyone know if what I did was right?

Even if he did cheat, best friends don't usually sell out there best friends...so do you think his said "best friend" likes you? just saying it could be a possibility...

He could just be a really honest best friend looking out for the greater good of others...and then I guess it could be he was just telling the truth.

Though it's surprising that his best friend told you the truth since most guys stick together and cover up this like cheating and lying as most value friendship over honorable behavior

are you also friends with his best friend, the only way I would ever rat out a friend is if I considered my friends girlfriend a friend too, and I feel a friend wouldn't put a friend in a position to choose between friends

Talk about it first and see what he has to say.

If he denies it, his friend may have been wrong. If he admits it, then you have something to worry about.

If he did cheat, talk it over and find out why, even if you think you're not gonna take him back. You can still improve or prevent it from happening in your next relationship (if you choose to have one).
