What do you think of the idea of older siblings of both sexes showering kisses on their little siblings as a heartfelt warm welcome?

Does this sound too intimate, or perhaps something you would want your brother or sister to occasionally do as a greeting if you haven't seen them in a long time or perhaps travelled a long way to see you with their wife and kids, who would shower you with kisses too? Some cultures kiss as greetings, so I figure, why stop with a simple peck on the cheek when you could really show them how you feel?
That sounds lovely.
Maybe for only a greeting.
Ew, you only do that with wives/husbands
It would depend on my relationship with the family member trying to kiss me.
