I guess it is up to the family what they feel acceptable. both my sons 8 and 10 kiss me on the mouth but hug thier dad and maybe kiss him on the cheek. I mean it it nothing like the picture but I pushed both of these kids out of my most private of places and breast fed both so a peck on the lips between a mother and child as a hello good by or good night hardly seems like that big a deal.

even in my culture where u kiss to greet its not on the lips unless you're romantically involved.

Its up to the family though, but i think it definitely shouldn't go past like maximum 8 years old. And definitely give the inappropriate touches talk, especially if you're getting them accustomed to being kissed.

I’ve seen parents give their kids a kiss on the lips when they drop them off at my job. It’s more like a kiss goodbye and really nothing like what Wiz Khalifa is doing

I think that it depends on the age, after a certain point, it needs to stop. Gender is irrelevant to me concerning this.

My dad and mom kissed all of us on our lips when we were tiny, but stopped around 4-years-old. And it wasn't like in that picture, more like a quick peck.

A quick smack yes but not in a loving way. Like saying goodbye when they go off to college is fine. i still kiss my mom and dad when I leave their house and tell them I love them. and they only live 2 miles away.

There's a large distinction between that and making out with your child.
