My dad doesn't talk to me. Is it a good idea to give him a Father's Day present/card?

Actually we have a good relationship but we had a fight last month and he stopped talking to me. I think giving him a present or card might be good to start talking again but I am not sure if he will accept it. He is grumpy a little.

No reason not to give him a father's day card as spats are not uncommon between parents and children regardless of age, but generally get repaired. This card for example might just be the thing that opens your dad up and you two begin to repair things between you.

If he's grumpy it may be for other reasons, giving him a card will likely cheer him up. I would say, give it a try. Sometimes, extending the olive branch can mend fences.

He'll always be your dad. Good or bad. Hopefully good. If you've tried all you can to have that connection then why not give a card as well? It might be the tipping point. It doesn't have to be expensive. It's the thought that counts. One day you'll look back and can be proud you tried.
