Same story. Realized it was going to be raining today so I started trimming my hedges late yesterday, at like 6 PM. My neighbors were having a get-together on their deck, I felt a little bad running the hedge-trimmers and then the leaf blower during cleanup, haha, but it had to get done. Got most of it on a tarp but the trees start shedding some sort of wispy thing this time of year, plus the pollen has been insane (had to trim with a mask on), so I had to try to blow the driveway clear too, which is like a small dead end street, lmao. Only did the half not on an incline, but it was still another 20 minutes of work. Hopefully the rain is washing the pollen away, the street is probably running yellow, lmao. Plus I played four hours worth of hockey on Friday, and went to the gym for 2 1/2 hours in between, including doing legs. So walking isn’t a great thrill yesterday or today, let alone choring, lmao
Still have to do the grocery shopping and battle the cretins at the store, and bring the trash/recycling to the dump. And I’m cooking steaks tonight, which is awesome, but still a production. Could be a lot worse though, haha. But yeah, definitely lacking motivation today.
A bit.
Though I have to admit that lately I am feeling a bit less than energetic on a regular basis. I am guessing it is just a touch of late Spring Fever or whatever. However, the biggest and most distressing expression of this malady has been my absence from this site.
Normally, I am on this site every day and I answer at least one if not more questions. However, lately I am just not finding questions to stir me to take the time to write the long answers that tend to be my habit.
Don't get me wrong, people have the right to ask what questions they like and I don't blame them one little bit. It is just I tend to focus on the politics and trending news areas and for whatever reason, lately, they are just not doing it for me.
So assuming it is not the questioners, it must be me. So I assume I am just going through a bout of laziness. With luck, that will pass.
As for now though, I have to thank you for this question because lately I have just not been motivated to write. As I say, I blame myself and not the site - which I love - or other site users.
Still, thanks for giving me a question that I was motivated enough to reply to.
No…I have so much energy I don’t know what to do with it. Up by 6…made breakfast for 7 people…my older sister and her family came. Last week my little sister came with her family to visit…
I did take a 3 hr nap during the week…other than that I am mostly an energizer bunny and I drive everyone at work crazy including my own 6-7yr old students…I don’t even drink coffee!! If I do, I’ll be off the wall!!
We are entitle to have off days and it’s our body telling us to get the rest we need…
Your wife is right. Why are you so hard on yourself?
Even though hubby is retired…he takes Emma to school in the morning so he gets up early and get his day started rather than sleeping in…
He is very very hard working and wants to do everything. I sais it’s not a good idea…he should learn to relax, so we got cleaning ladies and gardeners… it frees his time to go bike ride/dirt bike riding/the gym…
When I met him, he had all kinds of pain…he now has no stress…
I also told my brother in law and my little sister that once they purchased their house next yr. They need to get a nanny…
Money can’t never buy back time…so that they can enjoy time as a family more often and not do house chores.
Get some rest…
I write books for a living,
so I can choose either to think hard, or to think lightly,
to think fast, or to think slow,
to work fast, or to work slow,
to work long, or to work short,
to work often, or to work rarely.
to work carefully, or to work calmly.

Yes because it's raining. Rain always makes me feel lazy 😴
Agreed, it was a lazy day yesterday. I worked 6 days (M-S) and did my chores at night so I could free-up Sunday. I was up early and took the dog for a walk, grabbed a McDonald's coffee on the way and was out for about 1.5 hours. Got back, did a little clean-up on the truck and then had a nap. I wrote two proposals to do some work up north and then made a nice grilled seafood dinner.
Hahaha... if she did, I would have picked it up. That pisses me off to no end too.
I didn't have time to feel lazy...
fortunately, tomorrow is Monday, normal work day... I will rest :D
Have says like that but no i want to get some things done, play tennis, hang out w family
Yeah, it's cool and overcast today. Gloomy. Don't want to do anything.
Yep, lazy, hungover and just having a gaming day.
I'm lazy by nature, and lazy at heart...
I do still get busy at the times... and get the deeds done
It's not raining here yet. I didn't fall asleep until 5am because the pain in my back. I don't feel like doing anything except going back to sleep.
