I feel the same way! I think its cause of covid. And also because you might not like the task that you're doing. It may feel tedious and bothersome. For something to stop the laziness it has to be motivating. Usually things that affect your future plans and can have grave consequences will motivate someone to do something even though they're lazy but that doesn't mean that you stop being lazy. So then you ask the question Why are you lazy? Well it could be a lack of power and energy. Get a blood test done. You might have an iron deficiency or vitamin b12.

I relate to the automation bit because I am actively working to develop automated processes and tools for my side business. Half to make production easier and scaleable (key to making bigger money), but also because the skills I learn in that could help me find a day job.
But I'm a Type A personality. I like to do and achieve things. I do have periods of laziness, but overall I'm working towards having more productive days than not.
Voted no, but yes, I'll write code that are super complex for the purpose of reusing them.
And yes, I did reuse them, although I admit I had forgotten half of what I had written since college days.
Outside the coding world, ya, I'm a lazy guy. I do work with the principle of "do once, never repeat". That's where I find time to laze after long hours of work.
I work hard, earn my bucks, then I rest harder. This is "balance", to me 😁

I sometimes procrastinate but am exceptionally efficient when working with a deadline approaching.

Yes I am. Sometimes I don't feel motivated to do anything, sometimes I try to escape reality which ends up with me being oddly lazy. But at some point I had to stop, I have lots of goals I want to reach so I can't be lazy. Procrastination is the reason why people are broke and unmotivated right now.
I am moody. Sometimes I'll work until I get it done in the best way.
Sometimes I will nap all day or just surf the internet.
I can be sporty but lazy also.
I feel lazy because I find some of the tasks annoying. No, I'm not lazy at all. However, I work so much, sometimes I get exhausted and tired. Or don't get enough sleep (rarely ever 7 or more hours). And then, people call me "lazy" because of it.
Lol in general I'd say no.
I have my moments of laziness but they are usually deserved otherwise I'm always working hard. So when I am lazy it's either after a full work week on the weekend or it's after work.I'd say yes when it comes to cooking or cleaning the house but when I force myself to do it, it isn't so bad to continue. I feel satisfied just being on my laptop working than doing those tasks LOL
I have noticed that I am not as motivated to get things done like I was, say a year ago.
I have to snap out of this laziness. Too much to do!!Right now I'm being lazy only because I'm in a naked nude mood at the moment a and I don't want to put any clothing on today. I'm having a bare skin day. 💞
I am not lazy. I am just tired. Some times I just don't want to do it because it is boring.
Laziness is often from habit and for larger tasks from fear of failure.
But once you automate it you never have to do it by hand again..,
Sometimes I am, but most of the time I'm pretty active and motivated to do things.
Yep, put the time in first and you don't have to worry ever again... doubly so if you comment it so someone else can do it.
Well I'm usually lazy because I procrastinate and then get shit done at the last minute. Oddly, I've put myself in situations that can't be coasted through. Liquor's mostly involved.
I don't enjoy it, only when I'm sick, my body is on a strike.
Everyone calls me lazy because instead of getting a girlfriend i just use the one attached to my wrist
Very I just woke up today ate double breakfast, organized dishes, washed dishes, fixed my bed and now I want to go to sleep again.
Procrastinating is not only a decrease it's a form of mental decease. It continues until you break down. Get help.
Hmmmmm The first three lines of your screenshot sounds like it came from the Congressional Report.
Yes because instead of holding the dog leash I just stuff the handle in my hoodie pocket
That is something for me to think about. I am not sure at the moment but maybe I do that
