Is it sexist to say that a girl should care more about hygiene than a boy?

My dad was angry at me cus I was wearing the same outfit for a week straight (the clothes don't smell promise), and I was having my period and blood leaked into my sweatpants and so my dad told me to change but i forgot i hadn't washed the sweatpants and then my Dad got angry at me again and started ranting to me about how I should be more focused on my hygiene cus I'm a girl, and he said I quote "You are leaving a very filthy life" then he told me he bought me a bunch of clothes but I still choose to wear what he decides to call rags, hmmmm Looking back at all I've written, I might have gone a little of topic, whatever Idc, by the way this is my first time asking a question so try leaving the hate comments for a few months
