How do you handle sulking friends?

I’ve got two friends who are sulking. *Bella* and *Percy*. Bella is sulking because after proving herself to be decidedly flakey, I wasn’t available at the time that suited her, once, because I was busy with my own life.

Percy is sulking, because I rejected his romantic advances. When he’s only hitting on me because he hasn’t found anyone else and I’m not interested in him and never showed any indication of interest. How does a woman handle sulking friends? I actually hate passive aggressive behaviour. I have to actively remind myself that I have some annoying faults, too; and try to remember how much I like them when they’re not acting like petulant five year olds.
