Should I wish him a father’s day?

My dad hasn’t been in my life since he’s separated from my mom when I was 8 years old (I’m 22 now) and since then I rarely seen him, it’s not like he doesn’t care about me since he sometimes give me money and we sometimes on the phone, I don’t have any hate towards him, but should I wish him on Sunday since he’s been mostly absent for me?
