Bad friend? She left me alone in the parking lot?

So, I have a new friend, and we've hung out about 4-5 times (we're both women). Today, we were at the mall, just talking about life and drinking coffee. She has a motorcycle, and I usually get around using Uber. I definitely didn't expect her to take me home. When I had a car, I used to give rides to my friends if they lived close. My house is closer than hers, and she could have dropped me off just 5 blocks away without deviating at all - she knows this.

When we were about to leave, she asked how I was getting home. I told her Uber. She then asked me to walk with her to the parking lot. The mall is very big, and going to the parking lot and then to the exit is quite far. I thought she might give me a ride since she told me to go with her, but she just said goodbye, got on her motorcycle, and left? Lol. I felt so dumb just standing there alone in the parking lot. She could've at least taken me to the exit.

I'm not sure if I should tell her that this bothered me or just ignore it. I would never do something like that to someone, so I feel bad. What should I tell her?

eh, she probably doesn't have a helmet for you and just wants to be safe or doesn't like anyone riding on the back of her motorcycle, in case something happens. yeah i know it's not far, but... seriously anything could happen and it'd be her fault

I don't see where she did anything wrong? Like someone mentioned maybe she didn't have an extra helmet? I think you are over thinking this honestly.

If she didn't have an extra helmet, she wasn't wanting to risk a ticket by taking you. Plus, you said you were getting an Uber. In the future you might want to be more vocal about your needs though.

She couldn’t have given you a ride without you having a helmet. Most if not all states require anyone on a motorcycle, rider or passenger to have one.

You definitely didn’t expect for you to take you home, but the expectation was kinda there, otherwise you wouldn’t follow that up with how you used to offer your friends rides when you had a car, how you aren’t out of the way to be dropped off, or how you felt stupid standing in the parking lot. Anyway I don’t think it was a big deal.

You should tell her how it made you feel. That was a bit rude of her to do, and I'm sure she would feel pretty bad if you did that to her, or she was in your situation
