What do I do about my neighbor giving me the creeps?

He’s like 25 and doesn’t have a job. My job I work a lot and requires a lot of travel. I have 4 kids and my wife’s pregnant with the 5th. I’ve been having the neighbor kid mow our lawn for the past number of months and he always does it wrong.

My wife said that he’s been coming over to help because with 4 kids she just can’t keep up anymore with the house, and I pitch in when I can by by the time I get off work I’m mentally and physically exhausted. My wife is a Angel for doing all she has.

But it’s getting weird and I’m starting to wonder what his intentions are. Because why would he help my family with house chores when he could have a job and working. The way he talks too makes me know he is a bum.

I’ve told my wife I don’t feel comfortable with him being over anymore especially when I’m not there in case something happens. But she started getting angry with me. She said she was sorry and she’s hnder a lot of stress right now.

I just don’t have a good feeling about it and it makes me wonder if he has intentions of doing something to my kids.

What can you do aside talk with him yourself. Tell him you don't want him coming around anymore. Your wife is still going to have a say in it. Install security cameras?

We have a doorbell cam and he’s coming over sometimes late at night now. And I have talked to him before. He says he just wants to help. But it’s weird

He usually leaves when I get home and my wife locks herself in her room for hours. She’s been depressed lately but it’s weird

I try to be home as much as I can. But I have to work to provide for my family. My wife does her best to support me and I get she needs the help and I don’t have the money to pay for a full time maid.

We have a babysitter that does a lot for us as far as childcare. But she’s only there a few times a week

It is weird. He may be trying to bed your wife though. Pay attention to who he pays attention to. Is it your wife, the kids, who? Then make your concerns known to your wife so she can be aware as well.

I doubt she would do anything with a dude who has no ambition in life and smokes pot. Even she says she knows he’s a bum. But she needs the help

It’s because it’s odd hee wanting to help around our house. When he’s only being paid to mow the lawn and does a half ass job at that.

He might be molesting your wife but also actually helping with chores and she doesn’t want to say no because she does need help. Then she locks herself in her room out of shame.
