When you compare the percentage of women who actually pay VS the percentage of men who actually pay. 90%of men who are supposed to pay, actually pay, where 20% of women who are supposed to pay, actually pay. And the women who don't pay never see consequences for it, where the men who don't pay see jail time, loss of licenses, loss of international travel privileges and so on.

I'm against child support for either gender. It should be 50/50 no support as a default. But it will never happen because for every dollar of child support, alimony/spousal support collected the state makes 50 cents from the fed. Check title iv-d it's all in there. The states make billions from unconstitutional wealth transfer.

Mine was set up as 50/50 and I never saw a blessed cent. Thankfully I was able to just double up on work and get through the rough years, but he reaped all the benefits of being the "fun" and "carefree" parent with 0 responsibilities regardless of what the courts did/didn't say. No one should have to put up with that... And the court system is REALLY ineffective at keeping the parents accountable for what they owe -- to a level that's criminal and inhumane.

The last two sentences. Yes and it's why I feel everything is so fucked up. They want a split and a payout..."they" make money off it.

I say it all the time that it's them that enables all the evil shit we see, but I somehow just get called a he-man woman hater when in reality I'm not pointing the finger at women. I'm pointing at all the people that make money off it.

Like why does Dad have to pay such amount to them, and then Mom gets some of it? What the fuck is that? That's middle man money making shit!

Anyway I feel like I'm just pissing in the wind about family courts and the legal system that's in place ripping everybody off. You get my 'like' and I will continue being labeled a he-man woman hater.

You gotta pay. If you are unlucky the court will make a decision that you have to pay to high an amount. Child support is extortion. Custody should be 50/50 and the bills for the child/children also 50/50. That would probably also cut down on divorce too if women weren't financially rewarded for it.

I didn't ask him to pay...

I know he should, but keeping good contacts was easier when I covered everything by myself. He matured with time and this problem was solved...

The major reason that men don't pay child support is because women very often do not allow men to see their own children or if they do, they impede their ability to do so significantly. Another reason which might be equally important is that child support awards tend to be extremely punitive and Men simply can't afford to pay it. So they don't.

Debts that cannot be paid will not be paid.
