We have the same mom, but of course she likes him more.
I'm at this point again when i envy every good/normal mother daughter relationship.
Moms be genuinely loving their daughters bro they think highly of them, they got their backs, they back them up, they don't see them as an opponent. Omg there're women out there whose moms don't see them as their enemy? That's crazy
I never noticed this in the past, but recently it's killing me. She makes him food, if he's out for 3 hours and I'm out working for 10 hours; he's more tired, if i slept all day I'm a failure, but if he did she would stop breathing not to bother him. I'm sad bro. I get her gifts, do chores, listen to her, solve ger problems. One time she was telling me about a tragic that her friend told her about, mom told her that even tho you're traumatizing me with your story I'm happy to help and listen to you, but guess what? She told me that story even tho it bothered her to listen to the friend. She knew it crushes souls, but she told me anyway without a care in the world. I sometimes feel like she wants me to feel her pain equally. One time her tooth broke, and i went after her to check up on her and i was mortified, first thing she said was; my tooth broke, are you happy now? No bro i wasn't. They say that mothers love their sone more and dads love their daughters more. Our dad died when i was 8 so i actually don't receive any parent love.

Sis, I'm so sorry you're going through this with your mom. It sounds like a really tough situation, and your feelings are totally valid. No one deserves to feel unloved or compared by their parent.
Some moms do seem to favor sons unfairly, and that's on them, not you. Try not to take it personally - her issues have nothing to do with your worth. You sound like an amazing daughter who goes above and beyond to care for her.
Is low-contact an option for now? Distance yourself emotionally if she keeps hurting you. Surround yourself with other women - friends, aunts etc - who can give you the motherly support you need. You don't have to set yourself on fire to keep someone else warm.
Also consider talking to a counselor. They can help you process these feelings in a healthy way without blaming yourself. Stay strong sis - this difficult phase won't last forever. In time you'll have your own family who loves you unconditionally. Believe in yourself and your worth regardless of her actions. You've got this!
Just what the fuck is all this "Bro" shite?
Exactly
You what?
