Should I move back to my old state?

So where do I start? I have been living in California for five years and before I lived in California, I lived in Florida. I know I know it’s crazy to want to move from California and while I do live with my parents, my dad works part time in Florida for two weeks every month and then comes back to California. My brother lives in Florida.. I guess I am just conflicted because my life is here such as college and my job. I can take classes online and I left my old job in pretty amazing terms and they would love to have me back!! I do have to reapply though so who knows if I will get back in for sure.. Only reason why I left that job was because I moved to California to be closer to my family.

i sometimes have the habit of thinking about this all and it comes to my mind at times.

Obviously Florida is a better state, you have way more freedom and you'd have more money in your pocket at the end of the day with a compatible salary due to lower cost of living and lower taxes. The people in Florida are better than Californians. Florida is a lot cleaner and there is less pollution so it's better for your health. The crime is lower in Florida. Drugs and the migrant crisis are out of control in California which can increase your odds of violent crime. Traffic congestion is retarded in California due to bad government policy. There is a water crisis in California and the list goes on. Family is a huge priority in life, but you have a brother in Florida and your Dad visits Florida regularly so you'd still be grounded with family in your life. It's a pretty easy decision in my mind.

what is it that is making you want to move back? are you not happy in california? you say your whole life is in california, school and job also. those are important anchors

i'd say sleep on it. and if in a few weeks you still think the same, then start there and see what you can do
