Who have you lost who was a big part of your life?

It's the memorial anniv. of a very special person I lost. Thinking about this today... I wouldn't have been the person I am today without having that strength and good example in my life.

Is there anyone you can say the same thing about? Someone who impacted your life?

My grandparents from my mother side and my father ☹

I really miss them so much!

I never thought that there will be a day in my life where i won't be able to see them or heart them anymore, i always knew that we will all die someday buy experiencing it is totally different!

I always use my video camera and clips that i have recorded on my p. c to see them and hear them again, it works like a time machine to take me to a time where they were alive, i look at myself in the videos while i was with them and ask myself, my younger self, have i ever thought that there will be a day where i'll only see them or hear them only by playing by vhs or recorded clips?

I miss them and may they R. I. P

My best friend died last November. I had not seen him in 4 years since he moved but I was planning on visiting him this year. We did everything together and have known each other since second grade. I was best man for all 4 of his weddings. I still cannot get used to the idea that he is gone.

My daddy passed Dec 2022. He was a good man. Worked really hard to raise us 4 kids. He knows he lived well and left 4 amazing kids and 8 grand kids. We made him proud。

My grandfather back in 2006.

My dad's aunt also died recently at the age of 95. She always sent me nice cards for birthdays, my wedding, when my kids were born... she was so thoughtful and it kills me that I never took the time to send her a thank-you card or anything.

My lawyer Robert, who was also my best friend and the best man I have ever known, in an airplane crash 4 years ago.

My former girlfriend, Kimberlee, in an auto accident 3 years ago.

My heart still aches for these wonderful people, now gone forever.

The living amongst me do not tend to ponder or show great virtue. If anything I should be a role model to them since a lot of people don't introspect very much.
