shared interests, values, the fact that we can sit for hours and laugh about nothing, someone who gets my jokes for sure, who has good morals so that they add to my life instead of subtract from it and who has my back not just in the good times but in the bad

Knowing that someone in the world cares about me and my life. And the same goes for them that I care about them and their life.

Just being able to share things with each other and pray for each other. That is a biggie for me. 🙏

I have always had friends since I can remember. I treasure my friendships so much!!

Believe it or not but about five minutes ago I received a text message from my friend Janet who I met when I was 14 and she was 12. We grew up together in San Francisco! Lot's of great memories.

So, she was 12 when I mer her and she turned 68 yesterday and we are still friends. I sent her birthday wishes yesterday and she was replying FROM HAWAII !!
That's where she went for her birthday.🎂

If you happen to get friends at any time in your life, you have found a treasure. Hold on to them.

Trust in a way that I can trust that the other person takes the friendship seriously and doesn´t make fun of me behind my back. Aside from that knowing that we both don´t take the friendship for granted. A friendship is an investment and if a friend makes me feel like they don´t care about me or our relationship I don´t need them being around.

Interest in spending time with you and an understanding of what you enjoy doing or talking about with an effort to aim for similar things you both agree on

There is sharing of course but it's nice when your interests and view points are valued and respected rather than ignored

For me the difference between and 'Romantic' and 'Friendship' relationship basically comes down to that in a 'Friendship' Relationship there is no Romance involved and generally Friends also don't live together. I only have a 'Romantic' Relationship with one person: A Woman; Friendships can be build up with multiple people and both Sexes.

I dont value friendship but I do like to socialize when I get good and ready. So its nice to know that some people don’t mind picking up where we left off at any random moment

When your friends go to the mattresses for you. (To loosely quote the godfather movies) Without even asking. It warms the heart.
