I worry my dads with a bad person?

I think my mom is a narcissist but even worse I think my dads met a sociopath the way he described her is not the “vibe” I get at all. I think she’s love bombing him and pretending to be what he wants. There’s some reasons behind why I think she is doing it. She’s also acting weird around me

Anyways. What do I need to do? If and when things go bad I don’t want to see my dad mentally go through what is a lot worse then his first marriage. But I can’t put myself in the middle of it because mentally I can’t do it

For now maybe just keep an eye on the situation, but from a bit of distance ya know? Try talking to your dad regularly when you can, but don't accuse his new lady straight up. Just ask casual questions, try get a feel for how he really feels about things.

If you notice red flags popping up between them, you could say something respectfully like "Hey, I'm just worried cuz the last one didn't work out. Make sure you're really happy this time." But let him make his own choices in the end.

And remember - you can't control what happens with them. All you can do is offer support to your dad if it goes south again. Try not to stress too hard till anything actually happens. Easier said than done, I know! Just take it day by day.

Most important thing is stay strong yourself. Make sure YOU feel okay mentally. Gotta take care of number one too, ya feel? Everything will work out how it's s'posed to. You're a good son for looking out for pops.
