Having boundaries and space leave room to grow leave room to mess up and be creative and also make sure being an active listener you can fuck up but also this is your time to lean into them and tell them you’re not perfect and it’s OK they will accept you

What Led Zeppelin captioned against in "Good Times, Bad Times"... "When I whispered in her ear, I lost another friend..."

We were CLOSE friends since childhood and senior year we both decided to be fucking STUPID and it lasted a few months and we were NEVER the same again. I would give anything to undo that mistake. We're more like social media acquaintances now and it's awks.
