GAG, Do you dislike small talk?

At work, in a class, at the store, in an appointment or over the phone, texts, and so forth.

It’s draining and boring and annoying and tasteless and tiresome. If you’re talking just to fill the silence, then good grief go away lol. I don’t care about your private life or how we both ended up here. 😂😂😂

Somehow, people have the feeling that they need to tell you their entire life story. It is particularly true when you meet younger people of the opposite gender and not only young ones tend to want to do small talk with a woman.

Those chats tend to start as conversation fillers but soon switch to flirting, which is something that I totally abhor because I am very well aware what their ultimate intention is by doing that.

I really do dislike small talk as it not only takes your time and does not bring anything constructive to a regular conversation.

I don't mind small talk as long as it's not used to replace/avoid deeper conversations.

Sometimes you just don't have energy for a deep convo but you still want to talk with someone
