Why did my friend give me an attitude for declining her invite to the club?

Okay so my friend (let’s call her K) and I were chilling right and as I was leaving her house earlier today, she asked me if I wanted to go clubbing me of these days. This is how the conversation went.

K: Hey girl one of these days, would you like to go out clubbing with my friends and I? Hey maybe we can do that for your birthday when it comes up.

Me: No. I don’t want to go. Clubs bore be and I just don’t find the appeal of them.

K: Have you even tried it? Come on! It will be fun. Plus everyone should try and experience going to a nightclub at least once in their lives?

Me: I did try it a few times and I did not enjoy it. So it’s going to have to be a no.

K: It will be great. I promise. Come on! You gotta have some fun. We gotta get you out of the house. Let’s do it.

Me: Girl maybe you didn’t hear me. I am NOT interested in clubs. I don’t like them and I don’t want to go. I appreciate the idea but I said no.

K: Boooooooo! What are you going to do for your birthday, just sit in the house. Old ass lady! That’s what I’m going to call you on your birthday. “Old ass lady”. Stop being so ungrateful!!! Get out of your comfort zone. JUST COME CLUBBING.

Me: Did you JUST hear me! I SAID NO! I DON’T WANT TO GO AND I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO EXPLAIN ANY FURTHER!! STOP TRYING TO GET ME TO GO!

She gave me a look and called me a “rude bitch” and shit the door in front of my face.

I texted her if she can’t respect my boundaries, then I don’t wanna be her friend. She didn’t respond. Whatever. Has this ever happened to you?
