Who was more strict or hard on you whilr growing up your dad or your mom?

My mom was the one who set the rules of house growing up. Though her dad was strict on her so I guess she modeled her parenting after her father. My dad was more laid back though would have a second say and back up my mother.. I am actually glad or else I would have gotten into trouble doing whatever I wanted if I chose to.

My dad was the disciplinarian, and looking back I'm grateful for that. He is a great father.

(foster parents who raised bed ages 4-13) mom was more strict because she had anxiety about me hurting myself, but it wasn't in a "don't do that" kind of way I could just feel she didn't want me to do certain things. Dad was far more willing to let me learn my own lessons but with some gentle guidance
