Then I said this, “Did you really think we give a shit about your dead loved ones? Nobody gives a shit about that! That’s probably why they, especially your mom is dead because she couldn’t deal with her homely daughter. Nobody wants to hear that. People are probably DONE with you.”

Come on! Losing loved ones is part of life. Big deal! Nobody wants to hear it 24/7.

People do grieve when someone close to them dies. It can be completely expected due to age and health but still they grieve. Mostly they just want acknowledgement of their grief and that is consoling.
