Why do people get so mad when women say they don't want children?

Well depends on the context number one as far as not having children that is a personal decision everyone man or woman has to make. People who feel as if they want to control other peoples lives to feel better about their own. When they can criticize someone for their choices it makes them feel better about theirs. Deciding not to have kids is better then having a bunch of kids out of wedlock to a lot of men you aren’t married to or for men women.

Now when it comes to abortion the choice to have kids and the choice to have a abortion. Is making the choice between not buying apples and not buying oranges. People who have abortions more often then not are people with very poor self control, cowards, and people who make poor life choices. If you don’t want kids that’s fine nothing wrong with that but either don’t have sex, get sterilized, or at least use protection. It all else fails be responsible.

I know this question isn’t about abortion but some people will make it into that.

@chocolatetwopointo We are talking about one woman's choice not a man's. I didn't say it was ok when men do it. It is wrong for both of men and women to freeload. That said It is less harmful for the community when men do it because men are more replaceable.

The loss of resources is a factor of 270 times less and is more mitigable with things like child-support laws. When a woman checks out and freeloads she is not replaceable. There is no mitigating substitute.

A man's capabilities are renewed we will say daily on average depending on his count. His ability to support his family and children such as it is it furthermore not reduced by the process.

Children are a defining part of life, without them you miss out the better half of the story of living. The desire to have kids is a natural desire for ALL life, were this not a natural desire there would be no life surviving to this day.
For anyone not to have that desire means they must have been somehow "manipulated" out of it because nobody starts in that position no matter what they think.

This has always bothered me. I'm 40 and not having kids.

People say things like "they fulfill you" "it's a joy seeing them crawl, talk, walk etc" "they will keep you less lonely when you're older"

I think having kids is a nightmare. You're tired all the time, have to pay for their schooling, can't go on vacation without them crying. They wake you up all hours of the night as a newborn. And don't get me started on their screaming, crying tantrums.

Sure they'll grow out of but I'm not waiting 10 years for that.

I'm not having kids and I told my family that years ago.

What is a problem is when those women are upset about men not wanting them for not wanting to create/raise a family, or when those women get older and it is too late to have healthy offspring and they blame men for not wanting them.
