People who don't break law or the rules are not morally better just more cautious?

I know people I consider boring who would never break a rule. But I don't believe they are trustworthy. They are if anytime more sneaky

Take for example speeding driving a car. The conditions are safe. No cars around. These people will remain inside the limit. But let's say in conversation, they will hide the truth. It's not explicitly lying. It's just sneaky.

I guess it depends where you get your moral compass from. What I mean is the outwardly honest people are the ones who don't have a moral compass.

Laws have been implemented for a number of good reasons and all those that break the laws are criminals in my eyes. I does not make a difference between petty theft or a bank robbery with hostages or being above the speed limits.

If the legislator has made specific laws, then it is because there is a necessity for them and because people like you probably don't care if they kill someone while speeding or put an elderly person at risk by pointing a gun at them to rob them of their savings.

I do have a moral compass and that moral compass tells me to abide by the law.

But theft of a person is very wrong.
That's my moral compass working.

My moral compass tells me that whatever the legislator put up is based on experience, statistics or decency and morals. By adhering to those rules, I ensure that I don't go against the rules. Why would I drive 5mph faster than the speed limit? What does it bring me? To gain 30 seconds? What are you going to do with those extra 30 seconds? Watch TV 30 seconds earlier and being a couch potato for an additional 30 seconds?

Another example, if I'm cycling and it's middle of nowhere
And the traffic light is red, if I can't see any other traffic I'll cycle on ahead. Or a T junction when I can cycle without affecting traffic.

Those are small rules bring broken which I don't have a problem with.

But I suggest to you, some people afraid to break those rules are automatons who don't really care about moral issues where no law is being broken.
