Teach them that they are such evil, sick people that they deserve to die and burn in hell for all eternity—and there is literally nothing they can do to become good or redeem themselves.

(Also the rest of the "traditional" gospel isn't too great either, especially to teach kids. Kind of sets them up to blindly obey authority figures who, especially now we know, aren't always particularly trustworthy around children...)

Not give them rules, boundaries, and guidelines. That or not enforcing or following through on them.

Letting them dress immodestly.

Telling them "do whatever you want as long as you don't hurt anyone."

Give them smartphones.

Letting them think they're the opposite sex. Or encouraging them to think so (read up on the Jeff Younger case; heartbreaking).

Just letting them run wild while in a restaurant and with the kids getting into the gaming area where it is illegal for them to be. Then getting chastised for telling them to get out of that area by the parent. I just love those customers to pieces.

A parent that doesn't only cheat on their spouse but makes their own child the abili of their affair, gets their kid to hide their affair and lie to the other parent.

My parents would never disown me for that as they're both unconditional till the very end but some parents (more fathers than mothers) do disown. Yet I would never volunteer in such ridiculous involvement.

Yeah definitely one of the worst parents ever. Not only did they destroyed their family but also permanently ruined the bonding/relationship between a parents and his/her child.

my own cousin who has one son.. she used to verbally abused him and sometimes would disciplined him physically. He was around 6-10…. My cousin was also a teacher.
I stop associating with them since… I was also only around 18 so I didn’t know what to say or do… I just knew I didn’t like her or ever wanted to be associated with them.

Spoil them. Spoiled kids never turn out right. Teach them life skills so they are fine on their own. If the want a phone, tell them to get a job. If they get in trouble at school, don't defend your kids actions and hold them accountable to higher standards. The world will eat them up and spit them out if they don't realize it's harsh and they aren't prepared.

I'll just say this he was not a great father and later in life he kept his distance from me and now he's in heaven. And after I'm gone my dad's blood line ends with me.

My mom treated me better than him and she been gone since 2017 and he past 2023.

Besides SA or murder them, the worst things I've seen parents do is abandon them. I've seen this a lot too. Pretty much every juvenile offender call I responded to as a cop, had a missing father. I got to the point where I didn't ever ask for a dad's contact info because they were either blocked from custody, AWOL, or locked up. No sense stirring up those feelings every time.
