Is it common to look like my paternal grandfather but not my own dad?

My dad looks nothing like his father. I look nothing like my parents either.

Yet, I'm the replica of his father, my grandpa. He's the only single member I resemble to the point I could've been his twin. I've already been DNA tested long ago (I was a c-section birth and my parents initially thought the nurses gave them the wrong baby) and dad is my father alright, it was positive.

I look nothing like my parents but resemble dad's dad. I'm the only one that looks like him when he was my age. A couple folks even confused one of his childhood pictures for me. Is this common?
