I got sexually assaulted in my sleep by a former friend “Justin”. I told the friend group only cause I don’t have the heart to tell his mom nor do I wanna press charges. I’m happy he wasn’t able to penetrate me with his skinny little thing. There’s a universal studio trip in March for my buddy “Ryan’s” bday. Justin will most likely be there. We haven’t spoken since last month and I am iffy on being around him. I truly wanna go and hang out with my other friends for the birthday since they’ll be in my area for the day but I don't know. I know I can prioritize fun and good eats and not let a single person bother me, but something deep down is still bothering and I’m unsure as to what.

I've cut off friends for cheating on their girlfriends, because I don't want to associate with that kind of person.

Assault is way worse, so yeah; if that were to ever happen, I wouldn't want anything more to do with them. I'd be disgusted by anyone who could do that to someone else.

Oh, I don't think I could get away with not reporting him. He will do it again and the next girl would be on my conscience cause I could have stopped it on some level.

If you really can't bring yourself to report him, then I'd avoid the trip so as not to put yourself back in a situation where it could happen. Just keep your distance from him.
