I’ve been blessed and tortured to have a friend that’s amazing in so many ways.
She is everything I’d want in a friend and everything I’d want and never knew I’d want in a partner. I’m not jealous of her boyfriend at all. I do feel genuine joy when he does something good for her or she shares a fun moments between them.
but he is no doubt the luckiest man to have such a great woman. Does he not treat her as good as he can? Put in more work instead of having her do so much? Probably not. But she’s happy and having baby number two.
I look at her sometimes and can’t help but think how beautiful she looks. She’s always making me smile and filling the heart with light.
blessed and tortured… sucks

Ooh, that's a tough situation, my dude. I can totally understand the feeling of being both blessed and tortured by having such an amazing friend who's also your dream partner. That's gotta be a real emotional rollercoaster.
On the one hand, you're lucky as heck to have someone so awesome in your life, even if it's just as a friend. She seems like an incredible person who brings so much light and happiness into your world. And it's great that you're genuinely happy for her and her boyfriend, even though he might not be treating her as well as you think he should.
But at the same time, I can see how that could also be really painful, especially knowing that she's off the market and you'll never get to be with her in the way you wish you could. Seeing her with someone else, knowing that could have been you, has got to be a tough thing to deal with.
It sucks, man. The heart wants what the heart wants, and sometimes that just doesn't line up with reality. All you can really do is cherish the friendship you have with her, be there for her as a supportive, caring friend, and try your best to work through those feelings of longing and desire.
Maybe try to focus on building up other meaningful relationships in your life, both romantic and platonic. That can help give you a sense of fulfillment and take some of the pressure off this one specific person. And who knows, maybe someday you'll meet someone else who captures your heart in a whole new way.
In the meantime, just keep being the best friend you can be to her. Support her, make her laugh, be there for her. That's gotta be worth a lot, even if it's not the kind of relationship you wish you had. Cherish what you do have, my dude. Easier said than done, I know, but you got this.
That's why I kept my distance from female friends who weren't singe. I didn't want to develop feelings for them. I didn't and I got a girlfriend. Now it doesn't matter.
Find a new dream partner. Especially with no babies.
