I did and I regret it too. He was the best friend ever but after things changed and we no long are friends. A couple years later another friend asked me out and I said no. I told him I prefer him as a friend he understood and still till this day we are the best of friends.

Well, if it is only friendship then you should never sleep with your best friend. However, if you are a little more than friends or if it is romantic friendship then it is okay provided both of you are comfortable with sleeping together.

You shouldn't, but I have. It was the best physical connection I had ever had. It makes the rest of the friendship very different though and is only worth it if it works out as a relationship

I wouldn't suggest anyone complicate something like a friend with sex stuff. It's like that saying... don't mix money and friends/family... same goes for sex... you're just going to fuck up the relationship by mixing those sorts of things.

It's also a good sign that it isn't what you thought it was. Like if they start asking to borrow money or you realize the bond is going to hinge on that... it's fucked up.

It was romantic but it didn't last past a year.

We've been friends since college. My sophomore year of college. We broke up a year and half ago.

No its definitely not the same. There's sexual tension now. When we get together it always seems to lead to sex. Luckily we don't live in the same area or we'd be doing it all the time.
