How to deal with a toxic sibling?

im staying with my sister along with her kids and husband. Im getting my husband's visa approved for usa and will shortly live with him soon.

so me and my parents are temporarily staying at my sisters house until my husbands visa process is completed.

But my sister has a very toxic behavior towards me, and me and my parents have finally recognized it after many years. she is never happy to be around me,

she is always more nice to her kids and acts like im not there when she is talking to them (that hurts my feelings alott). she will try to dictate what i like to eat and always try to dominate me and will feed her kids the exact food i like.

im very sweet towards her kids but she makes me a doormatt for it. i had no idia that her feelings for me were so bad.

she earns more money and has a better husband and owns a big house, its all the things i could dream of, but im happily married and im fine with my low income and everything in my life but i know that nobody would ever want switch there own life for mine.

currently im dying to move out of her house but my partner is coming in a short period of time and i can't afford to live in a motel.

what advice do you have? im grateful for any, thank you.

Has your sister always treated you this way or did this occur when you moved into her home? Your sister has it out for you , for whatever reason? You are best to pull her aside and have a serious talk with her and get to the bottom of this and find out what her deal is with you , Don’t be rude and point fingers , just tell her you notice that she is upset with you and you are wondering why? She might be overwhelmed by having you and your parents’ moving in with her on top of raising her kids’ as well and probably her husband as well lol , She is possibly just targeting you and taking it out on you because you are her younger sister and that’s what siblings do to each other sometimes. You are probably just her punching bag to vent her frustrations. Love one’s sometimes attack the ones’ they love most because they feel stressed and overwhelmed, So it sounds like you are her punching bag until you and your parents’ move out.

Maybe she is jealous of you , Did your parents’ give you more attention then her , maybe she considers you the Golden child and is jealous that she didn’t get treated that way from your parents’, that’s my guess considering you said she has done this to you since you were kids.

im the youngest so my parents had to be more caring towards me, as a kid i studied in a class with kids who needed special needs. but she had all the compatibility in life and was able to click better with my parents so she did have a better relationship with them.

If you have can, better just move out.
When we are adult, it’s always better to live in the our own place even though it’s not fancy place or just simple house. Don’t wait until your man comes.
