Did seeing your parent (s) nude actual scar you?

Reading the conversation under an answer on here got me wondering...

If you saw one or both of your parents nude regularly (not one off accidental exposures), how did you actually turn out?

In the long run, do you think it affected you positively or negatively?

Or would you describe it as neutral?

No, we were a decent family that had principles and one of them was to respect each other's privacy.

When the one or the other would go to the washroom, we would not lock the door due to security reasons but if the door was closed, that would indicate that someone was inside and we would knock on that closed door and wait for a reply from the person inside that washroom.

My parents' bedroom was off-limits to children. We were simply not allowed to enter that room unless accompanied by one of the parent.

Other than that, the rule at home was to always be fully dressed, regardless of the time of day or the situation.

Not at all. My parents were pretty open about being nude so I didn't even realize until I was much older that other people hid their bodies when nude. They just made it normalized rather than it scarring me

Hmmmm, nudity from parents I can't think of any consequences, since I didn't see that as something wrong, as a kid. I even saw uncles, aunts, cousins blablabla. No, in first intent, I don't find anything to say against.

It stands to reason that if you're used to it, it's just normal and you don't care. People being "scared" by seeing their parents naked usually have stories about walking in on a parent changing or fresh out of the shower once. It wasn't something they were accustomed to.

No. Nudity has never been a taboo issue in my family. My mom and I frequently go to a nearby nude beach on summer weekends. It'll also fall to me to take care of them when they get old and unable to take care if themselves so may as well be used to it
