I think I need to add detail to clarify what I mean.
I am not talking about your children doing something wrong in your house (between yourselves). I am talking about your child doing something wrong to someone else outside your family.
For example injuring someone (not by accident), because he lost his temper for instance.

I wouldn't support them when they are in wrong. I'd make sure they realise their mistake and apologise or if it's possible make it upto the kids if the mistake can be fixed. Then I'd hug and tell them gently that I'm proud of them for taking accountability for the action and trying to make things right.
