Is it weird that I only have 2 best friends?

My close friends in real life are only 2. The rest are just the kind of people who loves to talk and hangout but I know they won't be there for me in my times of need and won't understand me the way my close friends do. They'll probably the kind of people who would pretend to be too busy to be there to avoid you or will ghost you and come back when things are good in your life. So, I'd say having few genuine friends are better than having bunch of seasonal/conditional friends. Quality over quantity always wins.

Nope. I only have one best friend and I'm happy with that. As you get older you'll be lucky to just have one as people grow apart when families come into play.

At your age though, I didn't really have friends. I was a loner. So you're doing good having 2. It's not weird at all.
