My little cousins are growing up. They’re in college now. I’ve known them since they were babies. They had me read at their bat mitzvahs, despite being from the gentile side of the family. They’re kind of a hybrid of the daughters I never had and the kid sisters I never had. Besides my lady, there’s no one else alive who I would crash the fuck out harder for, I’d throw my life away for all three of them, figuratively or literally.

So we had an annual family gathering today, and I was surprised by the older one’s boyfriend being there. I’ve always joked about beating up boys their entire adolescence, so I don’t know if this is the first overall, or just the first one they’ve wanted to tell me about. And I did know he existed, and he’s been around a year and a half at this point.

Anyway, I couldn’t fight back the need to say something to this kid. I didn’t want to flat out intimidate him, like put him up on a wall or something, lmao. He hasn’t done anything yet. But I kind of just wanted him to know that she has people looking out for her.

So when I caught him alone, I told him “You seem like a good enough kid so I’ll give you the soft version. You guys are young; things work out, things don’t work out, no problem. But if she ever tells you it’s done and to leave her alone, you leave her alone. Don’t ever fuck around on her. Don’t get her in any trouble, she’s a great kid with a bright future. I don’t ever want to hear you got behind the wheel drunk with her in the car. And I don’t even need to tell you that I’m the first one coming if you ever put hands on her.”

He says “Yes, sir”, lmfao.

Then I said “Cool, welcome, happy to have you here, have a good time.” Then I stuffed a hundred dollars I had readied in his shirt pocket and told him to take her out and show her a good time. He protested at first, but I insisted.

Can’t lie, it was kinda some gangsta shit, lmfao, he got the message🤣🤣🤣

Seemed like a quiet kid though, hope it wasn’t too much, lmao
