I’m getting a new passport but it’s not going to be here for another six weeks and our trip is in three weeks. My friend’s ragged on me that I should have done it sooner. My best friend said, “Girl you should have done it sooner. We’ve talked about this back in April so you should have done it right here and there. That’s your own fault. You waited too long.”
My guy bestie said, “Yeah and we TOLD you to do so! We kept reminding you and NOW you want to do it? If I was you, I would have done it the next day or as soon as possible. That’s what I did last year when I went to Italy with my family. Six months earlier I got my passport right in there. Look I’m not saying it to act superior to you. I’m saying this because it’s the truth. Plus we can’t wait for you to get your passport so I don’t know what the hell we’re going to do.”
My other friend said, “We may have to ask someone to go with us but it’s going to be too late since you’ve always paid for it. You should have waited until after to got your passport. It’s too late now. We’re either going to have to go without you or invite someone else to go with us decided to wait. You should’ve done it months ahead. That’s your fault.
i told myself I was stupid, idiotic and I messed up. And nobody responded. My friends got quite. All they said was, “Welp bummer. Maybe next time.”
I can’t believe they’re going without me. I threw a fit bit they didn’t respond to it.
We’re going to England.

You’re being irrational and immature about this. Yeah it sucks but your friends are right, you should’ve taken care of the passport as soon as you knew you were going because anything could happen. Handling that earlier would’ve left some room for error, like if it will take long to arrive. Now you want your friends to miss out on a trip that they also paid for because you couldn’t be bothered to take care of your business on time? You fcked up! Sorry you gotta miss out but that’s not their fault.
No I don’t want them to miss out! They should go. My own brother said that’s my own fault and I was too lazy to take care of business and even though I was working I could have done it on time off or on weekends. No excuse. He said that’s a bummer and next time don’t be so lazy
So if agree it’s your own fault then why did you throw a big fit in the chat? Why are you saying you can’t believe they are going without you?
They say they may ask someone else to go with them if they have a passport. My friend sent me my money back.
I did take care of business but my brother cut me off saying, “Yeah but you didn’t it too late! That’s on you so you only have yourself to blame. You’re not going to England and you will miss out because you’re dumbass decided to wait until it’s too late to do it. Better luck next time.”

At least you got your money back.
You may still be able to get a passport but you're going to have to pay to get it. Have you looked into expediting the passport process? People do get passports on short notice.
