I’ve been taking care of my daughter’s dog while she is in the military. I can’t find housing because I’ve been evicted so many times and no one wants to rent to me. I make $90K a year.

We she got out of bootcamp, I asked to borrow $500 to pay for a hotel room. Then next month, I asked her to send $250 to pay for a hotel room.

She asked about what happened to the $500 she lent me last month. I thought that I didn’t owe the $500 being that I’m taking care of her dog.

”I asked to borrow $500”. That’s your answer right there. You BORROWED. That means you’re supposed to pay that back. You can’t ask to borrow something and then after change it to no I shouldn’t have to pay it back. And you taking care of her dog or not is irrelevant, if you wanted to be paid for that then that should have been discussed before you agreed to watch her dog. You seem extremely immature and you need to get your life together. Being evicted left and right, making $90k and still having to borrow $200 from your daughter… And the immature reasoning regarding the borrowed money. You need to change, but something tells me you’re incapable of it. Maybe you need a legal guardian.

When she asked me to take care of her dog while in the service, she promised to pay his vet, grooming, food, etc. I paid for his grooming and check up while she was in bootcamp.

The day she got out of bootcamp, I asked to borrow $500 for a hotel room otherwise we’d be living in my car.
