Am I wrong for feeling mad and sad that I found out my friend is a lesbian from someone else?

She always says she wants us to be close friends and often complains that I treat her like any other person I know. I’ve tried opening up about my life and personal things to make her comfortable (not to get anything specific out of her, I didn’t even know she was a lesbian until today). Of course, I understand she needs to feel comfortable before telling me, and it’s not my place to decide when she shares it, but it still stings because she’s always saying she’s ‘trying’ to make our friendship closer, yet somehow I’m the only one she didn’t tell, even though all her other friends have known for a while
