Have you ever adopt cats if so how many cats?

What’s like to have cats? What are the challenges of raising cats? I’m planing to adopt one but I don’t wanna regret my decision. I don’t do this to attract my online girlfriend.

I have two cats currently. If you’ve never owned a cat, I would STRONGLY recommend an adult or senior cat, not a kitten. I get it, they’re super cute, but if you’ve never owned a pet you’re not going to be prepared for the energy they have and how much damage it will cause. The first time I had a kitten was when I was also a kid and had plenty of time and energy to play with it and burn that energy out. Not so much in adulthood. Also make sure you have everything you need such as litter boxes, food bowls, and scratch pads and poles. Keep those in the rooms with furniture you don’t want them to claw up. And if you let them outside make sure you allow for a strict flea treatment. I would honestly make sure they’re inside-only, better for everyone involved if that’s the case. When you first get them home, they’re going to want to hide, don’t try to draw them out, let them hide. It’s a new environment and they’re stressed, hiding helps alleviate it. And most important of all, the CAT has to set the boundaries, not you. You need to respect their wishes and let them decide what happens in your relatioship

We took a stray cat in that was visiting every day. Just do the usual checks with the veterinarian and make sure you give quality food. Tip: Cats don’t like stale water, buy a ceramic drinking fountain.
