Labrador, golden, no surprises except - I would've thought more Bulldogs fans - maybe it's seen as Too British despite America's colonial past and despite the popular French Bulldog ; go figure ; hmm and the Chihuahua no surprises there Spanish influence

The only other surprise was how many people have no brains or have big balls to keep tougher breeds like "Pitbulls" and anything else that could tear a person :( 🥲

Surprised the pit bull is popular, I'm going to assume those states aren't the most desireable places to live and have a lot of the 'wrong' sort of people.

Well Tom according to that map the French Bulldog is the most popular, however in our house the three fearsome Shih Tzu's that terrorize my husband but can't get enough of the boys win.

What do I think about the popularity of a handful of specific dog breeds? Nothing. Nothing at all. Not one of my top 1000 things I think about. All dogs are stupid, neurotic, and annoying.

I had no idea the chihuahua was so popular. When thy had the Taco Bell commercial a lot of people got them but they were really obnoxious so they got rid of them.
