I unfortunately have school work I need to finish, but my coworker nagged that I should go to my best friends house and spend time with her this weekend. I’ve spent FOUR weekends in a row with my bestie already! FOUR! Besides education goes first. My dad was like, “You’re going to spend time with your friends this weekend?”
I told him I’ll see them next weekend and we planned next weekend. My dad said, “I understand you have work and your classes but there’s more to life than work and school. Get out of the house. You can still fit friend time this weekend. It’s a three day weekend.”
I just want to be at home or be with the family if there’s things going on. I have multiple tests to take that are due Sunday so I want to at least take some at a time. I love my friends, but I had a draining work week so I just want to chill but I have work I have to do. I’ll see them NEXT weekend. Plus we didn’t plan anything for this weekend. They asked if I’m coming over this weekend just now. I told them I’ll try. had They didn’t ask if I was busy. I don’t do that anymore. They just assume I’m coming over every weekend. I can’t be there every weekend. They understand education is very important. I get questions for wanting to stay home but not the others.
Why do people nag me for not going out with friends this three day weekend? I’ve been there for four weekends already? ?

It sounds like your dad had plans for you to Be out of the house again, lol.
As for your friends, they're too needy. I could see if you were in a relationship and your partner missed you or something, but otherwise your friends need to get a life and do something without you occasionally too.
Exactly! I have other priorities
They just think I’m coming over every weekend. They should have asked because assuming that I’m going to come over. My friend said, “We haven’t heard from you because we didn’t know if you’re still coming over. You usually come over every Friday now.” See they don’t care to ask me anymore. They always assume that I’m coming over every weekend. I have other friends and I have family to see.
Yeah, just tell them that you have work to catch up on. You appreciate the offer, but you want to stay home this weekend. If they can't understand that, then they're way too clingy, selfish, and controlling.
Oh no they’re not selfish and controlling. They understand
How can you be 25 to 29 and still have classes, refer to your folks - are you a college student or are you pretending to adult here,? Ha.
Your Q and bio r just confusing
College classes. I forgot to mention that. Thanks for pointing that out
Most graduate by age 25 / 26 unless you're being a medico lol
I mean how long is string, a course for a degree is usually 4-5
In conclusion lady - just study. Stay home. No advice. That sounds logical , studies first. Peace out
You'll see your friends in future weekends. Peace 🙏
You could add me and chat before I delete my GAG ; I'm retiring from it after so many years off on, Covid I discovered gag, blah at 30s versus mid 20s, had my fill of the site and app, ready to enjoy reality and less screens 📺😋
Right and thank yoy
Oh okay
I mean you all will keep on remaining behind on GAG ; I'll be sailing away metaphorically ⛵
Or if GAG folds someday like Yahoo Answers, Answerbag, The Experience Project, all those before
Don’t make fun
Have a good day 😊
