Why do my friends questions why I’m not coming over this weekend?

haven’t had a weekend to myself in four weeks. I mean I don’t do anything anyways. My cousin said, “What’s so bad about that? Not a lot of people have friends that hang out a lot and every weekend? Be grateful!

At least you’re getting OUT OF THE HOUSE and not sitting at home. You don’t do anything.”

My dad is at his girlfriend on weekends and bro works on weekends. My sister lives in a different state with her own family. Everyone does they’re own thing. I have no boyfriend.

My best friend asked if I’m coming over this weekend I told her I wasn’t coming. She asked why not and I always come over every Friday. I told her well try working full time and taking college classes.
then she said, I could have work on parts of bed at a time but you understand.

My other friends were nagging at me about not coming this weekend, because my best friend told them. they ask me hope everything’s OK. And why I’m not coming over this weekend. Is it bad if I need. Weekend to myself

It's not bad wanting time for yourself. It's called taking care of yourself first. I learned that if you don't take care of yourself first you can't be there for anyone else. I think they are trying to manipulate you. Ignore them and do what you need to do for yourself. You're not being selfish.

It’s ok to have a weekend for yourself and not feeling like socializing. Your friends and family are probably just concerned about the change of schedule and which is understandable, it doesn’t mean you have to do what they want you to do

No everyone needs some space for self reflction or to get things done in peace without others putting forward their thoughts. Go for it and enjoy some well deserved "Me Time".

It’s your own fault. You started giving her all of your weekends because you wanted to meet her friends and live her life.
