How would you want a friend to support you when you're going through a hard time?

It depends on the situation. Sometimes, I need space to process what I'm going through in a way that helps me understand what's going on which is usually need in places where I'm overwhelmed and need a somatic approach. Otherwise? I definitely want their support, I'll tell them what's wrong and what I need: a hug, a friend to listen, someone to help me sort through my thoughts and help me put together a plan, etc.

It really depends. Sometimes I feel I need my space. Others, I want someone to talk to. I guess it would depend on the situation.
