Is it a good or bad thing to have kids at an older age?

Having kids at an older age- less energy, less patience to parent. More money. Less healthy offspring.

Older parents are often more financially secure, settled in their careers, and emotionally mature.
They may have clearer values and more patience.
And also life experience often makes older parents more thoughtful and intentional in parenting. Being more established may allow you to provide better education, healthcare, and opportunities for your kids. But yeah parenting young kids takes physical stamina. Older parents sometimes feel more easily exhausted compared to younger ones.

If you're less patience when you're tired, it means you're impatient. And more importantly, investments, children's health costs, and children's education plans cannot be paid for with patience.

Therefore, children born to more mature and financially stable parents will have a much better future and opportunities. And children born from young parents, who become parents as teenagers, have a tendency to do the same as their parents, uneducated and mostly become white-collar workers.

You can't give your kids your all if you're easily exhausted

Normally in 20 yo people still haven’t graduated from university, so it means they aren’t educated, so still the kids still have less opportunity to get better life.

Let’s break it down, like normal realistic people graduate from university around 21 to 23 years old. And after graduation we should get a job before deciding to have kids (unless your baby’s daddy is super rich person and pays all the bills) if you are lucky you can save and invest money in only few years, so the best time to have children is usually after achieving financial stability. Waiting allows parents to focus on building a career, paying off debts like student loans, and saving money, which provides a more secure environment for their children. By starting a family after these milestones, parents can give kids more time, attention, and intentional care, and provide better opportunities for education, experiences, and overall well-being.

I don’t have kids but I can say that this is subjective.


Because it depends on circumstances such as the financial situation of the couple, and if both parents work (if they have a means to get a baby sitter, whether it being the parents of one person or both)


Then as for age, timing is crucial in the sense that you cannot retire until you set all your kids that wish to pursue a college degree
