What would you do if your child was born a psychopath?

What would you do in this scenario?

A new law was passed, making it legal for babies and toddlers (6 months and above) to have a brain MRI done.

Your child is only 6 months and the doctors gave tell you your child has the brain structure of a psychopath and the area responsible for compassion, empathy, fear of punishment and guilt is empty. He/she will never develop nor feel empathy (no cure for that) but you can still redirect their upbringing to a more healthier path. Instead of a criminal they can become the best surgeon in the future.

to be honest i would not want to raise it.

because i have very little faith in them, they have no reason to be not turning into a monster, if he/she takes after my cunning nature and combine it with the brain of an actual psycopath, that kid will likely be something society would have to put down.

a psycjopath on it's own is very bad, but an almost genius level psychopath is much worse than that.

and if he doesn't have the emotions like emphaty, guilt and feel of punishment with my brain capacity he/she would have no reason to not turned into incarnation of satan.

if anything i bet he/she will start their training in technology and internet once they are old enough to learn reading and writing.

and they will likely rob so many people, hack cameras in order to cover their murders if they are agitated enough (which is not something much for me but maybe as a psychopath they will be harder to anger than me)

i really don't see that kid turning into what you call, there is too much unnecessary work for too little rewarding, if anything if i try to direct them into that way they will only think it is incredibly stupid.

pros: fame, high moderate money.

cons: takes too much time and effort and never ends.

why would they bother with this instead of being the best hacker in the country and rob countless rich people or anyone he deems a good catch? they have no reason to be guided into that path you draw for them, they don't have symphaty for the ill, they don't care about it, it will be just hardlabor for not enough compared to it's cost.

Maybe they can get thrills about performing the surgeon and since they're psychopaths, for them doing incisions is just profiteering. They might overcharge you for the surgery, lying about the price; basically still a rip off.

i'm talking about my own kids who might take some of my personality traits.
if they did the cold calculating nature of a psychopath merged with my own calculating and pragmatistic way of thinking they wouldn't bother with that small sense of thrill when they could have much bigger thrill with defiling laws, making tons of money from that and getting away with it.
but let's assume they didn't live up to their potential of evil and took a different, more docile and productive for others way of life.
i still don't wanna raise neither a demon in disguise or a living breathing robot.
no matter what we want love, i'm pretty sure psychopaths are incapable of it, sociopaths from what i remember had the ability to form actual bonds no matter how restricted and hard it is but psychopaths are basically soulless since even before birth.
mental illness and neurodiversity is different things.
mental illness kids? i can accept it but neurodiversity is basically a losing game from the start, i don't wanna feel bad for my own kid my entire life while watching them struggle for their entire life, life is hard enough for neurotypicals as it is.

Help them to understand how they are different, and how to use it as an strength not a weakness. Help them to understand people are going to see them different and thats OK. Lifes what you make it. A psychopath just has an awareness different then you and I. So does a bat and a dolphin and a shark and a cat... I dont think animals do things for emotional reasons. Fish don't look at each other and think gosh look at him over there he's fat! There's not good or evil just Emotions and perception. no person thinks the same as another... yes psychopath might be more likely to do bad things but in my opinion they can still understand humanities desires and goals and rules as a whole. A psychopath probably has a much more clear thought process then an average human simply because emotions don't cloud their judgement... the tricky part is how to make right and wrong worth it to them. Emotions do that for us.

With the right guidance from a very good therapist might help him to grow up with a healthy mind and be okay if not better than most people.

I would be very sad as his parent just like when they told me my son has learning disabilities. The hardest part for me is having to watch him struggle with not having a wife and family of his own.

If you can try to do some research on his condition and perhaps you will be able to guide him for the good that he already has inside of him.

Psychopathy isn’t inherently dangerous. It’s not really anything to worry about beyond making sure they adjust and understand that even if they can’t feel those things naturally, it’s important to act as if they do for the sole purpose of having a better life

It's just a hypothetical scenario. What if your son was older (6-7 years old) and he was displaying early traits of psychopathy and has no reaction towards punishment or fakes emotions?

@aceleon I can see you're a mental retard. If you were of average intelligence or above, you would have gone and looked up neuroplasticity which I specifically pointed to. If you had, you would have found a number of experiments that prove this concept is real and that it is even being utilized medically to help rewire stroke patients that have brain damage. Psychopathy is nature due to the brain being wired differently. There isn't a cure for that but you can redirect them towards a more acceptable path. So it's 50/50 on nature vs nurture.
If someone was born with normal brain functions but was raised in a horrible environment then that would be a sociopath.
