I'll never be pretty. This is a harsh reality I've come to realize. I will never have what lots of others have... love.

Appearance doesn't guarantee you love.

You have just one real love opportunity in your life and I lost mine, we both wasted that. I thought love is replaceable and exchangeable but it isn't. Over 18 it's possible to have a balanced relationship, however it's mutual deal with compromises and when both partner don't have desire to cheat and betray in can work, but it's not love. There is no euphoria, there is no excitation and even sex without few lines of speed is boring. It doesn't matter if you're pretty, bad or ugly, when you're adult you start to die, mentally and physically. Even if I could live forever, with my current appearance, I think I would get just emotionally completely jaded and power hungry

I realized no matter how dedicated you are to something or someone , like a job or a partner etc. it doesn’t matter , everything and everyone changes The harsh reality is knowing you or whatever it is never really matters everything and everyone is replaceable. Everything and everyone dies or disappears eventually , the second that happens , it’s only a matter of time before it’s forgotten. Another harsh reality is that society props up romantic love on such a high pedestal it devalues any and all forms of non-romantic love even though both carry the same value in one’s life.

That (for some) some people will never be apart of your life again, no matter how much you cared for them once. You probably won't even know how they're doing, just radio silence. It's a very bittersweet feeling when you look back into your past for a moment.

I'll never bench 365... It was a powerlifting goal back in the day, I came pretty close, but I never got to it. I really regret it because this was back when I was partying all the time, if I would have skipped a few Sunday fun days I might have hit that 365.

I've said this on here lots of times. The ugliest girl at my high school (out of 4500 students) always had a boyfriend throughout the 4 years I was there. You probably look like a beauty queen compared to her. You just have to get out there and find a guy and work on your social skills.

That not getting asked out in high school or dating while in high school wasn’t because I’m “ugly” but now I see it as a sort of protection. I was never “boy crazy” but now have been shown what horrible kinds of men are out there and what good ones are out there. I can navigate them better than my friends who were dating every time you looked over your shoulder could.

Love doesn't conquer all like some people think. Just being in love isn't enough. If there are obvious incompatibilities such as wanting kids and the other party never desires kids, no amount of love will overcome that.

Same but with being anything above a 6/10. I'm average in looks so at best I can be a 6 & at worst I can be a 4. The surgeries that I'd need to become a 7 are likely too invasive to be worth it even if I had the money.
