Grown woman acts like child?

Hello, i have a family member (female 31) who acts like a child. I'm not talking about the cute baby voices you do in a relationship with your significant other, she acts like a child everyday with people close to her like family members (not sure about friends). We are cousins by the way. for example i'm driving, and she wants to stop by to get fast food or something, she'll ask me "can we get food mommy" in a baby voice, and ill reply back like lets get something else, and she'll start to pretend she's a baby and start fake crying in a baby voice. i get baby voices in a relationship, but she does this with EVERY family member. and it irritates me. and its not just like 2 sentences, sometimes she'll carry a full conversation in a baby voice and she pretends to act like one as well. is this normal? how do i make her stop? or do i let her be? i told her i dont like it and she still continues?

Yikes. I've heard of age players for a fetish but this would really be weird if she were dragging you into that world unprompted. Have you tried talking to her and asking her deep down why she feels the need to do that kind of thing?

Reverse psychology maybe? I mean if she's going to act like one maybe treat her like one and strap her in a car seat in the back and maybe put a pacifier in her mouth too just for good measure so she will stop talking.

It's not normal, and you can't make it stop. You have asked her and she continues to do it. Does she have friends outside the family? How does she behave with them?

Just tell her to stop, at least when talking to u. Or don’t need to talk with you if she keeps like that.
