I live my life grounded in facts, logic, and structure. Emotions are on a tight leash. I stay levelheaded no matter the situation. Friends say I exude calm energy; I don’t panic, scream, or lose it. Everything’s a problem to solve logically.
But I warn people: don’t take my composure for granted. I observe more than I speak, filing away details like insecurities. If someone pushes me to “see red,” I don’t get violent or yell. I’m not physical. Instead, emotions switch off. Any care I had gets archived as irrelevant, and they become my psychological target. Not for physical harm, but mental dismantling. Sadistic and calculated.
I’ve only unleashed it once, at 19. My boyfriend cheated the whole time, then admitted he never loved me and used me financially. I flipped the switch and weaponized every insecurity he’d shared: body issues, childhood fears, career doubts. I dissected him calmly, like a clinical analysis. He crumbled, begging forgiveness, but I walked away detached. Mutual friends say it scarred him.
Since then, I’m upfront: it’s irresponsible to make me truly mad. I have levels. Annoyed (brush off), irritated (pull back), pissed (stewing), angry (switch flips). I hate that side, so I bury it under self-control and rationality. It makes me vigilant in relationships, but yeah, that’s my toxicity.
