Why do my friends rag on me to go to the party?

I know it is from 6pm to 10pm. The New Years Party is this Sunday. I was excited for it but now I’m not sure if I wanna go. I hope I can because I’m catching a cold. My coworker rag on me to come. I said, “Maybe.” Then one girl said, “What? You said you were planning to come. You gotta go.”
I went twice. Plus I’m starting to catch a cold so that’s why I said maybe. I should have said, hopefully. I just wasn’t feeling week and wanted to go home. I didn’t tell them I wasn’t feeling too good.

Take care of yourself first. If you don't feel good stay home I would think they wouldn't want you to go being sick. I don't like it when people are pushy.
