Do you agree that people aren't obligated to like their sibling if they aren't good people?

Most people follow the herd and like their sibling no matter what. My sister said one time she wishes I never existed because of my bad asthma when I was a kid. And because of that we aren't able to get a dog. I don't like her for that and many other reasons. She isn't a good person.

You are not obligated to like her. You tolerate her at family functions, but don't start a conversation with her. I hate my sister's husband, and he hates, me. They have been married for 45 year's. I pretend he's non existent and it pisses him off. 🤣🤣

I agree that people are not "obligated".
I only have one sibling - a younger sister - and I love her. We are very close.
But I know lots of people who don't get along with their siblings.
My wife has 8 siblings and there are two of the brothers that she and the rest don't like.

I decided many years that you don’t have to like family and what’s more you don’t have to put any more effort in with them than you would any other person.
